WITCH Petition & Fanlisting
The PetitionThe "W.I.T.C.H." franchise has been quite popular in Europe and Southeast Asia; where merchandising and comics of the girls are still produced as sell well. However, in the US this is not the case. It’s not because of the franchise; it’s because of bad marketing. The TV show was given the worst possible spot on ABC Kids, then pushed to ABC Family, and now only shown on Toon Disney. How can a show grow and gain fans when keeps moving and losing existing fans? The international success shows that this show could be great asset to the company if it were only marketed correctly. SIP Animation still wants to make a third season and it would strengthen the value of your initial investments, improve your bottom line, and appease the fans if you would let them.
Just the FactsSave Disney shows has been on the cutting edge of new techniques to save shows since the formation of the organization in 2004. One of the most unique ideas was concieved by SDS Admin Red orginally for the save Kim Possible Movement. The "email petition" was a mix of a online petion and a letter campaign to create a new method of petitioning. Unfortunately, while this method was unique, it was also very labor intensive and difficult to keep up to date - especially when there where multiple shows! That's why we developed a new system. This new petition is based upon a "normal" online petition, but we've taken several steps to make it more credible than most. First of all, our system is custom made just for Save Disney Shows and there are no automated signing programs. Our system also requires users to confirm thier email address before being counted. And finally, we encourage users to associate their signature with a user acount on our forum, DisneysWITCH.org. We also provide a website field which can be used to link to your blog, facebook, myspace, bebo, whatever. By showing each user's more than just a random name, we show that our list has significance! Of cource, we want to seperate what Disney gets from what is publicly viewable. In this way, the publicly viewable page is like a traditional fanlisting. A way for fans to connect with other fans, while also demonstrating the strength of our movement. The page sent to Disney will contain your full name and email address in addition to the other information on the input form. But the fanlisting will NOT show your last name, and you can opt out of displaying your email publicly. We also offer you the ability to join or opt out of our email contact list, although we strongly recomend joining it so we can keep you informed. At no time will we ever sell or disclose your personal information to anyone other than the Walt Disney Company and it's subsidiaries. Please encourage any fans, friends, and family to also consider signing our petition. But please, do not attempt sign it multiple times or you will not be counted at all.  Website Sponsored by:
